The Alumni Biennial Reunion Extravaganza!

The Alumni Planning committee sends you warm greetings from Chapel Hill, North Carolina, and we are anxiously looking forward to seeing you and your family at our Biennial Alumni Extravaganza! This year’s event is dedicated to The Lincoln High School class of 1961. We salute the class of ’61 in the celebration of their Golden Anniversary! The Alumni Reunion will get started with our informal class parties on Thursday, June 30, 2011. Please contact your class representative for more information.

We are excited to let you know that the Biennial Reunion Banquet and Dance and Thrill On The Hill Cookout will be held at the gorgeous Radisson Hotel in the Research Triangle Park. The banquet will be on Friday, July 1, 2011 starting at 6:00 PM. Our Thrill On The Hill Cookout will also take place at the Radisson Hotel around the swimming pool on Saturday, July 2, 2011 starting at 3:00 PM The price for admission to the two events is 70.00 for each adult, children 5 to 11 $35.00, children 4 and under no charge. Please be aware that seating is limited and will based on a first pay basis. The reunion will conclude with our Memorial Service on Sunday, July 3, 2011 at The First Baptist Church at 3:00 PM The Radisson will be the official hotel for the Alumni Reunion for those needing lodging arrangements. The Radisson is offering the members of O.C.T.S. a block of rooms at the rate of $69.00. Make sure you let the hotel clerk know you are with the O.C.T.S.—Lincoln High—Northside Alumni Association.

We will also have polo style tee-shirts with our official logo for sale. These are embroidered heavy duty knit shirts and should last forever! The shirts are available in black or white with orange letters for a cost of $24.00. Your money should be turned in by Monday, June 20, 2011. On July 2, 2011, you could be a mega millionaire! Please contact Kathrine Farrar at the PTA Thrift Shop or your class representative for raffle tickets in order that you will be eligible to win at least $20,000,000.00!
