We are excited to let you know that on Saturday September 2, 2017 at 6:00 PM the Biennial Reunion Banquet and Dance will be held in the gorgeous ballroom of the Sheraton Hotel located on 1 Europa Drive Chapel Hill, NC. The price for admission is $50.00 per person.
Our Memorial Service will be held at The First Baptist Church on Sunday September 3, 2017 at 3:00 PM. You will be delighted to know that Eugene Farrar has assembled a Male Chorus consisting of The Mighty Tigers best vocalists. Keeping with our tradition, you will be able to include a sentimental advertisement of your deceased schoolmate, classmate, teacher or any other significant person in your life in our memorial booklet. We are thrilled to let you know that on Monday, September 4, 2017 at 2:00 PM the Thrill On The On The Hill Cook Out once again will be held at the new Northside Elementary School. This year, we'll pay homage to all former band members including directors, drum majors and majorettes. A special acknowledgement will be presented by the class of 1966 to the band members. We are excited to report that we have reduced the costs significantly this year! The prices are as follows: $20.00 for each adult (ages 16 and above); $5.00 for children (ages 7-15). There is no cost for children under 7 and adults 80 and above. As usual, you and your family will be treated to all the BBQ, Chicken, Hot Dogs, hamburgers, desserts and beverages that you can consume! Please bring your children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nephews, nieces so that they can meet each other. This will provide an opportunity for our historical tradition that began in 1974 to be continued by our children and grandchildren.
