The Alumni Planning committee sends you warm greetings from Chapel Hill, North Carolina. We are anxiously looking forward to seeing you and your
family at our annual Labor Day Thrill On The Hill! This event will be held at Northside Elementary School Monday, September 2, 2019
and will begin at 11:30 AM.
Pay homage to The Lincoln High School Classes of 1959 and 1969 on their 50th and 60th Anniversaries
The CLASS OF 1966 will honor The Mighty Tigers athletes, cheerleaders, coaching staff and Band
Memorial Service For Our Deceased Classmates
Luncheon With Sweet Golden Soul Music
The Thrill on The Hill is an event for the entire Chapel Hill and Carrboro community including schools and churches. Please bring your children, grandchildren, great grandchildren,
so that they can meet each other. This will provide an opportunity for our historical tradition
that began in 1973 to be continued by our children and grandchildren.
Inspired by the everyday family cooking that we grew up with, you'll feel at home while savoring a great meal in the
casual and relaxed dining area. We have assembled the top cooks in the Alumni Association and asked them
to share their best recipes. Equipped with roots and tradition in North Carolina for many generations, we
boast dBest BBQ That you have ever tasted! As usual, you and your family will be treated to all the BBQ, Chicken, Hot Dogs, Fried Fish, desserts and beverages that you can consume!
As you listen to old school music, we might even join you for a dance if the song is right!
We are excited to report that we have reduced the costs significantly this year! The prices are as
follows: $25.00 for each adult (ages 17 and above); $5.00 for children (ages 7-16). There is no cost for children under
7 and adults 79 and above. Your money should be turned in by Friday, August 30, 2019.
